Journey to Isla Pulong Pasig, Calauag, Quezon

Sulitin ang Summer !! 🌞 Every year we planned a summer outing with my College Barkada. We want to experience an island escapade. I recommended Isla Pulong Pasig that I saw on a facebook page (Backpackers of the Philippines! Hello Guys) which I get interested when I saw the photos, particularly the sandbar. ( The sandbar disappears at 1pm, so come early or stay overnight and wake up early in the morning.) Isla Pulong Pasig is located at Calauag in the province of Quezon. Approximately 6 - 7 hours travel from manila. We're from Laguna by the way. But don't worry. I'll help you on how to get there. 😅  Manila to Calauag   🚌 (Cubao, Pasay or Alabang bus Terminal) From Manila you can ride a bus going to Calauag, Quezon or a bus going to Lucena Grand Terminal, then ride a bus going to Calauag. Chasing Waterfalls : Talay Falls + Hulugan Falls... Luisiana, Laguna

Hello Adventurers! This is one awesome trip because I did it all alone (but not for so long haha). #WhereDoBrokenHeartsGo . 😂 By the way I'm also from Laguna. The city of seven lakes. San Pablo City. 💓 Let's start the DIY itinerary that I used in exploring this hidden falls. From Manila... 🚌 Ride a bus going to Sta Cruz,Laguna at Taft-Buendia Terminal (DLTB, JAC, JAM). Fare is P140. Estimated travel time is 3 hours. From Sta Cruz, look for the Jeep Terminal QuezLag going to Lucban/Luisiana. From San Pablo... 🚌 Ride a Jeep Going to Sta Cruz, fare is P50. Ride a tricycle, tell the driver you're going to QuezLag Jeep/Van Terminal going to Lucban / Luisina. (Not the one located near the public market). From QueLag Terminal... 🚌 Tell the driver the you're going to Hulugan Falls. It's located at Brgy. San Salvador, fare is P30. You can go Topload, just tell the driver. Don't miss it!
