Chasing Waterfalls : Talay Falls + Hulugan Falls... Luisiana, Laguna

Hello Adventurers! This is one awesome trip because I did it all alone (but not for so long haha). #WhereDoBrokenHeartsGo. 😂

By the way I'm also from Laguna. The city of seven lakes. San Pablo City. 💓
Let's start the DIY itinerary that I used in exploring this hidden falls.

From Manila...🚌
Ride a bus going to Sta Cruz,Laguna at Taft-Buendia Terminal (DLTB, JAC, JAM). Fare is P140. Estimated travel time is 3 hours. From Sta Cruz, look for the Jeep Terminal QuezLag going to Lucban/Luisiana.

From San Pablo...🚌
Ride a Jeep Going to Sta Cruz, fare is P50. Ride a tricycle, tell the driver you're going to QuezLag Jeep/Van Terminal going to Lucban / Luisina. (Not the one located near the public market).

From QueLag Terminal...🚌
Tell the driver the you're going to Hulugan Falls. It's located at Brgy. San Salvador, fare is P30.

You can go Topload, just tell the driver. Don't miss it! It's an awesome experience, especially for a first timer like me. Hehehe

From the Barangay Outpost, just walk to the registration area and get a guide. It's mandatory, but no fixed rate. Ride a tricycle going to Kapitan's House, where you will pay for the Registration fee of P20. Tricycle is optional if you’re in a hurry. If not, you can just walk.

Tricycle Fee : P50 to kapitan's House + P50 to Talay / Hulugan Falls trail.

Talay Falls

I go first to Talay Falls as suggested by Kuya Jeric (Guide). The trail is easy. You can eat your lunch here since there's a table. After taking some photos we headed to Hulugan falls.

Hulugan Falls

You can reach the falls in 30 minutes. Unexpectedly, I was reunited with my high school classmates here. I'm not alone anymore. 😅

High School classmates. From left to right : Me, Sugar , Beverly & Charmaine

It's been an awesome adventure. One the most beautiful falls that I saw and I got reunited with my friends. Haha  Thank you Luisiana, Laguna. Looking forward to visit Buntot Palos Falls in Pangil, Laguna.
